There is a new version of my Journalized theme available. This version, 2.7.2, fixes a couple of bugs raised by users.
Go to the theme page to download it.
As usual, please add your comments, questions, or bug reports to the theme page.
I am particularly interested in feedback on the internationalisation of the theme. This is the first time I have translated a theme, so I may have done some things wrong! I have included the POT, PO, and MO files. If anyone wishes to translate the theme to other languages, please do, I am more than happy to distribute other language files with the theme.
As a seasonal treat I have released the Xmas Skin I occasionally use on this blog as an extra skin for my Journalized theme.
You can download the xmas skin here:
xmas-skin-2.7.1.zip.
I hope you enjoy this bit of seasonal frivolity. 😉
The Journalized theme has been updated to version 2.7.1. This version fixes a couple of bugs in WordPress versions earlier than 2.7 (thanks Bill and Mike Walsh) and I’ve added Author posts links wherever necessary.
I’m still working on the translatable version of the theme. There may well be another release soon.
After feedback from users and some minor tweaks, my Journalized Theme version 2.7 is finally released! The theme is no longer in beta and is ready for the big time.
A reminder of some of the new features:
Go get it now!. As usual, leave feedback on the theme page please.
After nearly two years of inactivity, I have finally updated and released a new version of my Journalized Theme.
The theme includes support for WordPress 2.7 features, but is backwards compatible with WordPress 2.5 and 2.6
Just some of the new features:
Go check it out and let me know what you think. (Leave feedback on the theme page, not here)
I have released a minor update to my Journalized Theme version 2. This fixes issue where is didn’t save your options. Some people have reported this problem. Having found and fixed the bug, I cannot understand how it ever worked, unless WordPress’ get_settings()
function has changed.
I have also included a fix for the slashes problem in the column headers, and a couple of minor cleanups. You can get it from here: journalized-theme-2.0-Beta-2.tar.gz or journalized-theme-2.0-Beta-2.zip .
The main page to leave comments about this is the Journalized Theme Version 2 page.
Remember this is still beta code. It is a minor update to the previous release. I have a lot more code written, but it is not complete or tested yet.
Update: I’ve put together a readme file listing the changes I made.
There is a new beta release of my Journalized theme for WordPress: Version 2.0 Beta 1.
There a few things different about this new version:
See the theme page for details. Please download it and give it a try.
