1. It wouldn’t be too difficult to replace the b2-updated list portion of your site so that it worked on a cached copy. Have the script do nothing but read a serialized() struct of the data, and have a cronjob that runs to update the struct every minute/hour/day/whatever. That way your sites performance would never be affected by outages of th2 b2 servers. I’d be willing to offer you code if you can’t program in PHP.
