This Kodak Professional digital camera, the DCS Pro14n has 13.7 million pixels (4536 x 3024)! As well as all the features of a pro SLR camera, and 36-bit colour.
There’s also this awesome Canon Eos 1Ds (needs flash) at 11.1 million pixels! This one has some incredible onboard image control and manipulation settings.
Both cameras use huge full frame (24mm x 36mm) CMOS sensors. I’m going to read up properly on the technical specs. I have a tissue to catch the drool 😉
Theres an incredibly positive initial field report of the Canon 1Ds over at luminous landscape, which claims that for all practical purposes the quality is superior to film!
I’ll take one of each please! 😀

Wow at that image size I could not fit many pictures on my 128 Meg card. I wonder just how many pictures per meg?
The canon produces 32MB raw files! I think you have to use the IBM Compact flash sized microdrives (640MB and 1GB) with these!
