The last I heard, he was much better today. He’s only got one tube up his nose now. Poor thing 🙁
The doctors have given him a brain scan as a matter of course today, but I’ve not heard the results. I hope the little blighter’s ok!

Books
I seem to be getting through a lot of books at the moment. I may revive my book review pages. If I do them in a blog stylee, it should be easy to keep adding to them as I finish each one. Hmmm… Another project to go in the list 🙂

More on Baby James
I’ve just heard that he is out of intensive care, but still being monitored. Great! Mum and Dad are doing fine too.
New Baby
Jan’s nephew Chris and his wife Joe, have had a baby boy, James! He was born a couple of days ago, but shortly after was rushed into intensive care. After a couple of worrying days, he now seems to be getting better, though he’s not out of the woods yet. Still things are looking up and Jan and Paula (Chris’ sister) have gone to see baby tonight. Best of luck to all of them.
Dead Famous
I’ve just finished Dead Famous by Ben Elton. Very funny! I thoroughly enjoyed it. A good mystery, and I didn’t work out the ending either.

Merging on the Ridiculous
Lots of ‘fun’ today merging two CVS branches. The merge itself wasn’t too bad, only about four files with conflicts. The pain came from the fact that the branch I was merging from wasn’t a complete piece of work. It was in a phase two of three state which meant that not all aspects were working. But the powers that be have decided they need the work done so far to be released into testing next week!
Ah well, got it all working in the end. Only another four merges to go!
Battle of the Blogs
The Guardian is running a Best British Blogs competition with a £10,000 prize.
Hmmm… should I enter?
