I’ve been revising for my Java exam on Monday all weekend. In fact since Friday evening.
I’ve learnt that It’s been 24 years since I did any revision (and I didn’t really do any then) and I’m not that good at it. 🙁
Still, I don’t have any worries about passing tomorrow, but I’m less sure about getting as high a score as I would prefer.
We shall see. Wish me luck.

Linux From Scratch – Kernel Compiled
Woo Hoo! The kernel finally compiled! The last couple of times it failed, there weren’t any valid reasons. I’m now worrying that the hard disk is failing somehow.
Anyway. I shan’t be doing any more Linux From Scratch until after my Java exam.
Twiki
I’ve added a large number of changes to our internal Wiki Wiki Web tonight. With any luck, this will stimulate some of the others to contribute.
Long time no blog
Wow, three days since I blogged. What’s happened in that time? Not a lot! I’ve really had my head down getting on with work, revising for my Java exam (which is on Monday!) and reading The Salmon of Doubt. I’ve now finished it, by the way. An excellent book. And a reminder of what a sad loss it was when Douglas died.
I need to concentrate on my Java book now until Monday.
Local B2
Cool. I’ve got B2 working locally on my Windows Machine. I’ve even d/loaded my database dump so I’ve got a reasonable number of posts to play with.
I’m gonna use this local copy to play about with templates, and potential add-ons.
Post-Communion
Jamie’s in bed now. We all had a good day despite Jamie getting up too early and being tired and grumpy by the time we went for our meal. But all in all a good day.
Ready for Sunday
I think everything’s ready for tomorrow. It’s going to be a quiet affair as most of the family is away on holiday.
Jamie and I will be sharing the day as it’s also Father’s Day. Although I think Jamie will get most of the limelight.
Early Night
Must have an early night tonight. Lots of stuff to do tomorrow in preparation for Jamie’s first Holy Communion on Sunday.
