This time I’ve added a description for each link and a visibilty flag to turn off individual links.

Cool! I’ve already passed 100,000 hits this month (107895 as of 26-Sep-2002 00:08 EDT).
I know hits aren’t the same as page views (or even visits) but those figures are already well up on last months totals!

There is a new version, 0.4, available. You can get it here. I’ve added a couple of calls to stripslashes() in the right places.
I’ve also added a changes section to the B2 Link Manager web page.
Finally, most of my sidebar links on this blog use this link manager now.
Another silly bug! I’ve posted the fix on the forums.
This comes of having a working copy, and a separate distribution directory. I fixed the bug in the working copy, and didn’t update the distribution directory before zipping.

I’ve been working from home today. The idea is that I can get on with a big piece of work without being disturbed for the next 5 or so days. Unfortunately, I first had to do another piece of work which took all morning. Then I got constant emails throughout the middle of the day. It didn’t get ‘quiet’ till around 3pm. Still I’ve made a good start.
Oops, looks like there is a syntax error (or two) in the SQL script.
I’ve posted the correct SQL to the forums.
I’ll do another release later.
I’ve updated the b2 Link Manager. There is a single bug fix in the new version. You can get it from http://zed1.com/b2links-0.2.zip.
I’ve also put up a web page about it with some screen shots.

Steve P has just sent me a couple of links to stories about Geoworks for whom we both used to work.
They are being kicked off the Nasdaq! The original stories here at yahoo and here at yahoo.
Geoworks don’t seem to have issued any press releases since May!
They closed today at 5 cents!
Some good news today though, the UK office is definitely being purchased by Teleca. It shouldn’t be too unpleasant for the staff, as several ex-uk geoworkers ended at teleca.
