Folks, if you are looking to attend WordCamp Edinburgh UK 2012, on the weekend of the 14th and 15th of July, you need to get your tickets pretty soon to qualify for the early bird price (£35).
After midday this coming Friday (June 1st) the price will rise to £45. Mind you, that’s still a fantastic price for a two-day weekend filled with WordPressy goodness .
I’ll be there of course, will you? It’s looking like a cracker with some great ideas for sessions already put forward. I’ll be running an extended session called Starting Out with WordPress. Once again, get your tickets soon.
I look forward to seeing you there.
WPUK is organising this event.

Thank you very much for giving us WordPress as an excellent opportunity to have a goodtime. I think this event will be a lot of useful and informative.
Silly question but as I have never attended a WordCamp and am interested (time/schedule permitting) – is lunch provided on-site as part of the ticket cost or will visitors need to self-cater by popping into e.g. M&S or something? And if so, are there such supermarkets nearby?
Thanks 🙂
Hi Flick,
Currently lunch is not planned to be provided (but there is still time for a sponsor to come forward and offer to cover that. Unfortunately, catering for up to 200 for two days is quite an undertaking, both financially and logistically).
There are a number of eateries nearby.
Thanks for taking the time to give such a helpful reply, Mike 🙂 Much appreciated!
Thanks for jetpack heads-up last night at the fabulous Mad Lab. I’d like to buy you pints (though you said you don’t drink, so coffees!) and pick your brains about a project for which I need better WP skills than I currently have (mine aren’t totally crap, and I could vollie for the Sun 8th July).
