Wooh! A busy day at work today. I had to do a release in the morning which ended up not getting out until after lunch (through which I had to work). And then in the afternoon I had meetings for the rest of the day.
Still, I learned there are some interesting projects in the pipeline.

WordPress
Things have been quiet around WordPress for the last week or so, but it looks like things are starting to move again.
Linkin Park
I ‘re-discovered’ Reanimation by Linkin Park this morning. That is, I put it in my CD drive at work for the first time in a few weeks and found myself unable to remove it 🙂 A truly classic album.
But then I forgot to bring it home tonight, so I’m currently listening to Meteora
Sunday Swimming
Jamie and I went swimming again Sunday morning. This week she managed to swim 30 widths. She did really well. I think she was quite proud of herself.
Back Round To The Order Of The Phoenix
I’ve just finished Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire for the fourth time. I’m back on to Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix for the second time. It was interesting that Goblet of Fire really didn’t seem to drag at all this time through. I was also delighted to find that lots of the events and plot points from Phoenix were started or stated in Goblet of Fire.

Barry White Dead
Sad to see that Barry White has died today after being ill for some time. The BBC has an obituary. I like his music and Jan is a big fan.
Blogshares Artifacts
OK, Sayed says that Artifacts are for rich players:
“Artefacts are designed for rich players and they give them a fair bit of power in return for a lot of cash. There are limits and costs associated with each usage. When the power is exercised, those who have their stock restructured or taken over are paid fair prices for the loss of those shares. Simply put: Artefacts rebalances the competition to enable rich players a chance of winning as well.”
