I’ve had a busy day again at work, under pressure. People asking every half hour, “Is it done yet?” Of course when they do this, the answer gets to be “No, and every time you interrupt me to ask, delays me even more!”… but, I’m not allowed to say that!
Busy tonight at home too. I had to take my multimeter round to Graham’s who’s having problems with his new scooter.
Right now, I’m busy trying to mirror a website to a new domain. With strange results, the page loads but the stylesheet doesn’t! 🙁
After a visit to Nessahead, I was reminded of her only hostee; Chris’ Life In Haiku, which I’d glanced at briefly before, but not really appreciated. It’s pretty darned good.

Yet Another Geek Shop! I just found Computer Gear, another online geek oriented shop. They’ve got some good stuff, I especially like the Gargoyle monitor topper, ubergeek T-shirt, and the digital picture frame.
I would also like the computer chip jewelry if it came in silver.
I’ve been working on the gallery today.
It’s not ready for general consumption just yet. But it’s coming along nicely. Expect an announcement soon.
Too many complaints about the site looking bad in Windows XP and Internet Explorer 6.0.
I’ve reverted to a previous revision (thanks to CVS) of the style sheet. Pah! 🙁
I’ve actually seen a screenshot of how it looks in XP now, and I’ve no idea what’s wrong with XP’s version of IE. Given that XP will never get anywhere near any of my machines, I’ll not be able to check it.
Thanks to Edward, I now know why the weather in Manchester is so miserable (although it’s been great for the last week).
It’s been a quiet day today (recovering from the sleepover). We all sat an watched Spy Kids this evening, which was quite good.
Tonight, I’ve been playing with Gallery. I’ve got it set up on my server at home, and I like it. The only question now, is where to install it? I’ve probably got more than 1.5GB of digital camera photos, and half as much again of scanned prints. I wouldn’t want to upload them all, but I haven’t got even a quarter of that space accross all my websites! What to do?
It’s all over! The girls finally got to sleep about 1:30am after a good time was had by all. They were awake again at around 7, and up and about by 7:30. They’ve all gone home now, Tara, Hannah, and Jessie, and even Jamie is out for a while. Hmmm, peace and quiet.
They all declared it “The best sleepover ever!” and want to do it again. I’m glad they all enjoyed it, but we should wait a while before doing it again.
I expect some grumpy girls later this evening as the lack of sleep kicks in.
