A friend at work (Andy Don) has lent me a ton of Nu Metal/Nu Punk CDs. Sum 41, Blink-182, etc. I’m busy plowing my way through them. So far I like both the above two bands. They both remind of the ‘old days’ (I’m talking the late 70’s/early 80’s. Good stuff. I’ve some more to get through yet, Foo Fighters, some band with a Japanese sounding name…

Nu Metal Day
It’s been a ‘Nu Metal’ day. All I’ve listened to so far today, is Nickleback, The Calling, Creed, Puddle Of Mudd, etc. and of course Linkin Park. Mucho head boppin’ 🙂

Linkin Park Reanimation Relapse
After mentioning it, I’ve had to listen to it!
Linkin Park – Reanimation — recommended!
Linkin Park: Cold Turkey
I’ve finally done it! It’s been three whole days now since I listened to Linkin Park’s Reanimation!
After listening to it at least once every single day since some time in August, I’ve finally gone three whole days without!
Hmmm, now I’ve mentioned it, I want to listen to it again. *Waaah*
Reanimated
Woo hoo! I got my Linkin Park – Reanimation CD back (thanks Steve). I’d been missing it *sob*
Andrew Lloyd Webber
We’ve had a bit of an Andrew Lloyd Webber day today. We’ve listened to the double CD of Phantom of the Opera, and then we listend to the soundtrack of Joseph.
Now Jamie is learning songs from Cats, and doing very well too.
Update: I should have mentioned that she is learning them on the keyboard, not singing. She already knows every word to the whole show.
La la la…
Linkin Park
I’m really, really, getting into Reanimation by Linkin Park.
In fact at the moment I can’t listen to either album without having to listen to the other. So currently I listen to Hybrid Theory immediately followed by Reanimation.
Recommended.
