Holidays and Moving Targets

I’ve just spent a pleasant evening with Steve telling us funny tales from his holiday in Crete. Steve and Graham both arrived back from a two week holiday in Crete with their families.
At work things have slowed down on project Dandy. Data structures have been fluctuating for the last few days just at the point when I need them to be finalised. I need to write wrappers around these things and it’s very difficult when things are changing almost every day.

Long time no blog

Wow, three days since I blogged. What’s happened in that time? Not a lot! I’ve really had my head down getting on with work, revising for my Java exam (which is on Monday!) and reading The Salmon of Doubt. I’ve now finished it, by the way. An excellent book. And a reminder of what a sad loss it was when Douglas died.
I need to concentrate on my Java book now until Monday.

Lazy, Lazy, Lazy…

Oh dear, another day of doing nothing! No progress on Linux From Scratch, still not written up my holiday, not done my homework for my Java course, not got ready for work tomorrow…
Lazy, lazy, lazy, …

Tickets!

The tickets finally arrived this morning! Less than 48 hours before we fly. I still would not recommend Skydeals.co.uk. Jan finally believes we are going on holiday now.
Phew!
