Start ‘Em Young

Jamie, has decided she wants to create a website. She’s planned it out with pencil and paper. The layout, the artwork, the different pages, etc. I’ve been pleasantly surprised at how hard she has worked on it. She’s got some good creative ideas. We should be starting to implement it this weekend. I’m looking forward to it. Some of the design will stretch me a bit. 🙂

Sleepover Over

It’s all over! The girls finally got to sleep about 1:30am after a good time was had by all. They were awake again at around 7, and up and about by 7:30. They’ve all gone home now, Tara, Hannah, and Jessie, and even Jamie is out for a while. Hmmm, peace and quiet.

They all declared it “The best sleepover ever!” and want to do it again. I’m glad they all enjoyed it, but we should wait a while before doing it again.

I expect some grumpy girls later this evening as the lack of sleep kicks in.

Help!!!

Help!!!
Today is the day of Jamie’s sleepover! Four eight- and nine-year-old girls running and screaming round the house.

I can’t take it! 😉
Help…

Party!! Party!!

Roll on the morning. Oh no! They’ll still be here in the morning! 😀

More Puzzles

We’ve had a house full today. Everybody was round at some point: Megan (who’d stayed the night), Steve, Kim, Graham, Jackie, Thom, Bekki, Paula, and Wendy. It was a good afternoon. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.

Graham pulled out a very old puzzle from the cupboard: Rubiks’ Tangle, although the original 25-piece version.

Here you can see everyone getting stuck in to the puzzle.
Puzzle time

If you look closely at the dressing table behind you can see half of the new Puzz 3D Steve has bought! 😮

Luckily he only made us do half of it today. The other, slightly larger, half will wait for another day.

By the way, if you know the solution to this puzzle (which I didn’t), you’ll know they were doing it wrong in the picture above 😉
