Serendipity!
Not five minutes after I posted the last story, I visited Dodo‘s site and found an another link to the Engrish ‘The Two Towers’ captions. Serendipity!
Bad LOTR Captions Gone
It looks like those bad Lord Of The Rings captions I wrote about recently have been taken down. You get a 403 now. I guess the guy exceeded his bandwidth at Everyone’s Internet. 🙁 I wonder if anyone mirrored them?
New Feature: Random Pics
I’ve just installed a new feature on the blog. You can now find a random image from the gallery in the left hand side bar. You will get a different one each time you reload the page.
I got the script from Jeff Barca-Hall.
Note: The script will also display images from Graham and Thom’s galleries.
The Adventures Of Corky: Corky In The Jungle
Wow! Jamie has written and illustrated a book which she finished yesterday. It is called “The Adventures of Corky: Corky In The Jungle”. It was inspired by a little cork man she made at Brownies last Monday. It is really well done. She has put a lot of thought and effort into it. Her Mum and I are really proud of her.
Check it out in the Gallery: click on the picture to go there.
MS SQL Worm Has a Name: Sapphire
That Microsoft SQL Server worm has a name now: Sapphire. eEye Digital Security has an analysis. SQL Sapphire Worm Analysis.
I’ve been lucky so far. There’s not so much as a peep on my firewall logs. Then again, I’m on a domestic broadband network, so the likely hood of it getting to my part of the net is less than some areas. My (linux based) hosting service hasn’t been affected either, and, by implication, neither has anywhere on the route between here and there.
